Delivering inspirational learning environments for local communities

The Construction Framework supports the delivery of the school building programmes.  The framework is also  available to all responsible bodies including local authorities in England and central government agencies.

G F Tomlinson serve Yorkshire and The Humber and the North West and West Midlands, delivering educational facilities with a value up to £12.0m, including schools, academies, sixth-form colleges, university technical colleges and further education facilities.

This is the fourth time G F Tomlinson have been appointed to the DfE construction framework, underlining the business’s consistent performance, capability and expertise in the education sector.

We have successfully delivered £55m of new build and refurbishment schemes including primary, secondary, SEN and Alternative Provision schools and Higher Education facilities.

The DfE and G F Tomlinson share a commitment to responding to Climate Change and reducing carbon emissions and the new framework has an emphasis on achieving net zero carbon in operation.

G F Tomlinson will use our standardised school solution to support Schools to meet zero carbon requirements whilst meeting the long-term needs of the school users.

The Construction Framework will operate for a period of up to six years, with the option to extend for a further two years, up to 2033.

The Construction Framework plays an important role in meeting the increasing demand for primary and secondary school places.

Our reappointment will see us build on our excellent track record for leaving a lasting legacy for our local communities.
