Design & Build

This project involved the refurbishment of two swimming pools and extending one of them from 4 to 6 lanes.

The pool hall was also refurbished together with the demolition of the existing changing rooms.

A new build extension was built alongside the existing building to form a new changing village and ‘state of the art’ gymnasium facility.

The project boasts renewable energy technology features including ground source heating and a biomass boiler. Successful delivery included collaboration, consultation with the Operational and Design Team, early appointment of key trades, monitoring the detailed programme, robust snagging regime, effective co-ordination of the mechanical and electrical installation.

Contract Period: 41 weeks
