Design & Build

Construction of the new state-of-the-art Fire Station, comprising multi-functional office space, relaxation room, gymnasium, training rooms, tower and individual dormitories to accommodate up to seven firefighters.

Located within close to neighbouring business and residents and adjacent a technology-led defence, aerospace and security company. Close liaison was established and maintained with the Estates Manager to ensure the highest 24 hour, 7 days a week security solutions are implemented.

Regular ongoing communication was maintained with the Fire Service and surrounding properties to understand and accommodate all operational and access requirements. Monthly project newsletters were issued to kept all neighbouring properties informed of progress and planned activities.

Along with the Hull Fire Station, the new Brough Station also incorporates multi sustainable features, including a green sedum roof, photo voltaic panels, natural ventilation and lighting systems. These elements are expected to lower maintenance and running costs at circa £120,000 annually.

From working with Fire and Rescue Authorities we understand that it is vital to develop close working relationships between the Project Team and the Client’s Project Manager. In doing so, the Team can quickly identify and resolve any potential issues.
