I have over 25 years of experience within the Property and Construction Sectors and have been employed at G F Tomlinson for the past 13 years.
I initially joined the company as Business Development Manager before taking up the position of Group Property Manager G F Tomlinson Group. In my current role I am responsible for the management and FM function of all Group properties. In addition to this I also oversee the Property Development arm of G F Tomlinson Group, where I proactively source land and manage the delivery and completion of all new property developments & disposals undertaken by the Group.
Within my 25 years of experience in the industry I undertook 3 years of specific tuition by a qualified Solicitor on all the legal aspects associated with property development, including: acquisitions, disposals, development funding, contract law, rented property – i.e. tenant agreements, property sales and creating and reviewing of all legal documentation associated with property transactions.
I am also fully proficient in all aspects of the Construction process, where I work collaboratively with our client base and supply chain to ensure the highest level of quality is consistently delivered and that the client’s individual requirements are exceeded.
My interests outside of work include keeping fit and a quest for challenging adventures. Previously I was a keen marathon runner and in more recent times I have conquered many of the World’s natural challenges, including climbing Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, completing back-to-back marathons in the Sahara Desert in North Africa, climbing various peaks in the Andes and walking the Inca Trail in Peru.
