I have been worked in the Construction Industry for over thirty years, covering several disciplines and a large variety of construction types.
Following University, I initially began working on site as an Engineer, then progressing though site management, although I did also get involved in the Quantity Surveying on some small projects along side the site management along the way. This variety of roles has been invaluable in allowing a full understanding of both the whole construction process and the interactions required between the team members to complete the project to meet the client aspirations. Through this journey I have worked on many types of construction; motorways, civil engineering, new build projects covering offices, universities, schools, and warehouses, and refurbishment projects again of schools, universities, offices and public buildings.
My current Role as Operations Manager allows me to assist our delivery team with a mentoring role to some team members and a sounding board for ideas and solutions for others to ensure the delivery of the project to the Client is front and centre of everything we do.
